Acute Innovations was a U.S. medical device company focused on surgical solutions for thoracic trauma and chest wall procedures. Its commercial portfolio included fixation and stabilization systems for rib fractures, sternotomy closure, and chest wall reconstruction, including the RibLoc, RibLoc U Plus, BioBridge, and AcuTie product families. The company developed implants and instruments used by thoracic and trauma surgeons for challenging chest wall injuries and thoracotomy-related procedures. Acute Innovations was later integrated into Acumed, and its products are now marketed as part of Acumed's chest wall portfolio.
