Acuvax was an Australian biotechnology company focused on the development and commercialization of vaccine technologies for infectious diseases. The company's portfolio was centered on recombinant protein vaccines, most notably a candidate for West Nile Virus which reached Phase 1 clinical trials. Acuvax held a significant stake in Hawaii Biotech and possessed rights to the ISCOMATRIX adjuvant technology through a partnership with CSL Limited. The company also explored vaccine candidates for Dengue Fever, Malaria, and Influenza (SoluVax). Due to financial constraints, Acuvax eventually ceased its biotechnology operations and the corporate entity was repurposed for a reverse takeover in 2017.
