Ad-Tech Medical

Ad-Tech Medical is a U.S.-based medical device company focused on intracranial electrodes and related neurosurgical products used in epilepsy care and neurodiagnostic procedures. Its products are used for long-term EEG monitoring, brain mapping, stereoelectroencephalography (SEEG), and brain stimulation in patients with intractable epilepsy and other neurological disorders. The company also offers related accessories such as electrode placement kits, connection systems, and brain biopsy needles. Founded in 1983, Ad-Tech built a long-standing position in specialized neuro-monitoring consumables and devices and has achieved broad international commercialization. In November 2024, Nihon Kohden acquired a 71.4% stake in NeuroAdvanced, the parent company of Ad-Tech, and Ad-Tech continues to operate as an active business within that ownership structure.
