Adaptica

Adaptica is an Italian ophthalmic medical device company focused on portable, AI-enabled tools for vision screening, refraction, and eye-care workflow. Founded in 2009 as a spin-off of the University of Padova, the company develops and manufactures products such as the 2WIN binocular vision screener, 2WIN-S/2WIN-S Plus screening systems, VisionFit SC wearable adaptive refractor, and the EyeROBO cloud/AI platform. Its products are designed to help eye-care specialists detect refractive errors, visual defects, and selected eye anomalies in clinics, screening programs, and remote-care settings. Adaptica is part of the He Vision Group and appears to remain an operating brand/company following its acquisition in 2018. The company has commercial distribution in more than 40 countries.
