Adaptive Equipment Systems (AES) was a specialized developer and manufacturer of automated laboratory equipment for the life sciences and drug discovery sectors. Its product line featured the AES-2000 and AES-1000 automated liquid handlers, which were recognized for their precision and reliability in complex laboratory environments. In July 2005, Adaptive Equipment Systems was acquired by Molecular Devices Corporation to bolster its automated drug discovery and liquid handling portfolio.
