Aditlys was a medical technology company, originally a spin-off of Xeltis, focused on developing bioresorbable vascular access solutions for hemodialysis patients. The company's primary product, the aXess graft, utilizes a proprietary polymer-based technology that enables endogenous tissue restoration (ETR), allowing the patient's body to naturally reconstruct its own blood vessels. This approach aims to reduce complications such as infections and occlusions commonly associated with permanent synthetic grafts. While Aditlys spearheaded the initial development of the aXess graft, the technology and clinical programs are now managed by its parent company, Xeltis. The aXess graft is currently in pivotal clinical trials to support market approval in both Europe and the United States.
