Adlyfe was a biotechnology company specializing in the development of early-stage diagnostic tests for neurodegenerative diseases characterized by protein misfolding. The company's proprietary Pronucleon technology platform utilized synthetic peptides designed to undergo a conformational change and emit a fluorescent signal upon binding to pathological protein aggregates. This approach targeted biomarkers such as amyloid-beta for Alzheimer's disease and prions for Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease.
