Advanced BioDesign is a French biotechnology company focused on developing a new therapeutic approach for treating resistant cancers by targeting the detoxification systems of cancer cells. The company's lead program, ABD-3001, is a first-in-class suicide inhibitor of the aldehyde dehydrogenase 1 (ALDH1) enzyme, which is highly expressed in cancer stem cells and contributes to chemoresistance.
