Company intelligence / Profile preview
Advanced Influenza Technologies was a biotechnology company focused on the development of DNA-based influenza vaccines. Incorporated in Florida in 2006, the company held an exclusive license for a DNA-based influenza vaccine candidate developed at the University of Massachusetts Medical School. Shortly after its formation, it was acquired by CytoDyn Inc. in July 2006 to bolster CytoDyn's portfolio of infectious disease treatments. However, the entity was later administratively dissolved in 2009 as CytoDyn shifted its focus toward its lead monoclonal antibody programs.
