Advanced Nutraceuticals, Inc. was a specialized developer and manufacturer of nutritional supplements, vitamins, and herbal products based in Houston, Texas. The company operated as a full-service contract manufacturing organization (CMO), providing formulation, tableting, and packaging services for the health and wellness industry. In addition to its contract services, it marketed several proprietary brands of nutraceuticals to retail and wholesale channels. The company was publicly traded under the ticker symbol ANII until its acquisition in 2005. It was acquired by Bactolac Pharmaceutical, Inc. for approximately $16 million to expand Bactolac's manufacturing footprint and customer base.
