ADVENTRX Pharmaceuticals was a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on developing proprietary product candidates for critical care and oncology. The company's lead program was ANX-188 (vepoloxamer), a rheologic and cytoprotective agent designed to improve blood flow and reduce tissue damage in sickle cell disease.
