Overview
AeroRx Therapeutics is developing a proprietary nebulized combination of long acting beta agonist (LABA) and long acting muscarinic antagonist (LAMA) bronchodilators for COPD. The lead product is being developed in partnership with HCmed Innovations using their AdheResp breath-actuated mesh nebulizer. A PK/PD study was planned for 2023 to support a 505(b)(2) NDA submission. The program targets underserved high-risk older COPD patients who cannot optimally use dry powder inhalers due to low inspiratory flow rates. As of March 2025, the highest development phase reported is Phase I/II clinical trials.
