Company intelligence / Profile preview
Aetna Felt was a U.S.-based manufacturer, fabricator, and distributor of felt and other non-woven materials serving both healthcare and industrial markets. In healthcare, the company was best known for podiatry and foot-care products such as insoles, inserts, cushions, padding, sleeves, straps, socks, and related diabetic foot-care supplies sold under brands including Scott Footcare Products and Comfoot. The company also supplied custom die-cut felt and non-metallic materials for industrial and consumer applications. Aetna Felt was acquired by Creative Foam in November 2020, and it no longer appears to operate as an independent standalone company. It was not a drug-development biotech or pharmaceutical company, but it did have meaningful healthcare exposure through commercial foot-care and medical supply products.
