African Venture Philanthropy Alliance

The African Venture Philanthropy Alliance (AVPA) is a pan-African network of social investors dedicated to increasing the flow and impact of capital into social projects across the continent. AVPA works with a diverse group of stakeholders, including foundations, corporations, impact investors, and government agencies, to promote venture philanthropy and social investment practices. While not a life sciences company itself, AVPA facilitates funding and support for various critical sectors, including healthcare, education, and environmental sustainability. The organization provides its members with access to knowledge, networks, and collaborative opportunities to maximize the effectiveness of social investments in Africa.
