Agiana Pharmaceuticals is a Norwegian clinical-stage biotechnology company developing novel treatments for cardiac arrhythmias, with a focus on catecholaminergic polymorphic ventricular tachycardia (CPVT). The company’s lead program, AGP100 (also known as DNS-6288), is a selective small-molecule inhibitor of phosphodiesterase 2 (PDE2) that prevents cardiac calcium overload and subsequent electrical instability. Founded as a spin-off from research at Oslo University Hospital and the University of Oslo, Agiana aims to establish a new class of antiarrhythmic therapies. The company is currently conducting a Phase 2a proof-of-concept trial to evaluate the safety and efficacy of AGP100 in patients with genetically confirmed CPVT. Agiana is backed by Inven2 and partnered with Dart Neuroscience to advance its cardiovascular pipeline.
