Company intelligence / Profile preview
AGO Research is a Germany-based gynecologic oncology clinical research organization and non-profit study group that designs and runs multicenter phase I-III clinical trials focused on pelvic tumors in women. Founded in 1993 as AGO Studiengruppe Ovarialkarzinom (AGO-OVAR), the organization initially concentrated on ovarian carcinoma and later expanded into other gynecologic malignancies including uterine, vulvar, and cervical cancers. Its core activities include initiation and execution of investigator-initiated and industry-supported clinical studies, study operations, training, and collaboration with national and international expert networks. The group operates a broad academic trial network across Germany and works within the Gynaecologic Cancer Intergroup to support global study participation. Current open studies include programs involving olaparib, durvalumab, niraparib, bevacizumab, mirvetuximab soravtansine, avutometinib + defactinib, rinatabart sesutecan, and pembrolizumab + lenvatinib.
