Agro Kanesho is a Japanese crop protection company focused on the production and sale of agrochemicals, home-and-garden chemicals, and fertilizers. Its portfolio is centered on horticultural markets including fruit orchards, vegetables, ornamentals, and other specialty crops, with particular strength in soil treatment products and field technical support for growers. The company conducts in-house research on novel agricultural compounds and formulation technologies, and it also evaluates third-party compounds for potential development. Agro Kanesho operates manufacturing and R&D facilities in Japan and distributes selected products internationally through subsidiaries and partners. As of February 4, 2025, it became a group company of Idemitsu Kosan following a tender offer and subsequent delisting from the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
