Arbeitsgemeinschaft Internistische Onkologie (AIO) is a leading German academic research organization and scientific working group within the German Cancer Society (DKG). Founded in 1976, the organization coordinates a vast network of over 1,500 oncology professionals and 500 study sites to conduct high-quality multicenter clinical trials across all major cancer types.
