Airlift Northwest

Airlift Northwest is a premier air ambulance service providing critical care transport to patients across the Pacific Northwest, including Washington, Wyoming, Alaska, and Montana. Founded in 1982 through a collaboration between UW Medicine, Seattle Children's, and Harborview Medical Center, it operates a fleet of specially equipped helicopters and fixed-wing aircraft. The organization is staffed by highly trained flight nurses and pilots capable of delivering advanced life support and specialized ICU-level care during transit. As an integral part of the UW Medicine health system, Airlift Northwest ensures rapid access to tertiary care centers for critically ill or injured patients in remote or underserved regions.
