Akrimax Manufacturing was a specialty pharmaceutical contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) based in Rouses Point, New York. The company was established in 2008 when it acquired a major manufacturing facility from Wyeth Pharmaceuticals, specializing in the production of solid oral dosages, liquids, and semi-solids. It provided a range of services including formulation development, commercial-scale manufacturing, and packaging for both its affiliate, Akrimax Pharmaceuticals, and third-party clients. The company's portfolio included notable products such as Tirosint for hypothyroidism and NitroMist for angina. Following a period of restructuring and the divestment of its core product lines to companies like IBSA, the manufacturing operations were eventually discontinued.
