Laboratorios Alcalá Farma is a Spanish contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) specializing in the pharmaceutical, over-the-counter (OTC), and food supplement sectors. Based in Alcalá de Henares, Spain, the company operates GMP-certified manufacturing facilities with extensive capabilities across solid, semi-solid, liquid, and sterile dosage forms. Alcalá Farma is particularly recognized for its expertise in soft gelatin capsules, liquid and solid stick-packs, sachets, and lyophilized (freeze-dried) formulations. In addition to contract manufacturing, the company offers in-house research and development services to develop proprietary formulations and update older products, providing complete regulatory dossiers for European and international markets. Formerly acquired by Synerlab Group in 2015, it became part of Meribel Pharma Solutions in 2025 following a private equity-backed consolidation.
