Company intelligence / Profile preview
Alexis Biotech was a London-based biotechnology company specializing in the development of immunotherapies for cancer and infectious diseases. The company's core technology focused on the delivery of recombinant HLA/peptide complexes to tumor cells or antigen-presenting cells to trigger T-cell mediated immune responses. In 2009, Alexis Biotech entered into a strategic partnership and cross-licensing agreement with Immunomedics to develop targeted vaccines by combining its HLA-antibody targeting platform with Immunomedics' Dock-and-Lock (DNL) technology.
