Alfa Wassermann Proteomic Technologies (AWPT) was a specialized division of Alfa Wassermann focused on the development of automated systems for protein separation and fractionation. The company's core technology centered on continuous flow ultracentrifugation, embodied in its flagship AW Promatix system, which was designed to streamline biomarker discovery and proteomic research. By providing high-resolution separation of complex biological samples, AWPT aimed to improve the efficiency of downstream analysis in drug discovery and diagnostics.
