Algiax recently completed a Phase 2a clinical trial for AP-325 in chronic neuropathic pain with positive results. The study demonstrated rapid onset of action with clinically meaningful pain reduction within two weeks, persistent treatment effects suggesting disease modification, high responder rates (over 25% of patients showing ≥50% pain reduction vs 11% for placebo), reduced need for rescue medication, favorable Number Needed to Treat compared to standard of care, improved sleep quality, reduced anxiety and depression, and a good safety profile with side effects comparable to placebo and no central side effects.[9][10]
