ATX01
Phase 2- Indications
- Chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy, Erythromelalgia
Company intelligence / Profile preview
AlgoTherapeutix completed a Phase 2 "ACT" trial of ATX01 in Chemotherapy-Induced Peripheral Neuropathy with 276 patients. The trial showed encouraging efficacy signals, particularly at the higher concentration of 15%, but a high placebo effect prevented overall statistical significance. In post-hoc analysis of low-placebo sites, ATX01 15% showed statistically significant superiority to placebo on most primary and secondary endpoints. The company is considering further development with modified trial designs to minimize placebo effects.
