Overview
Alizé Pharma was a French biopharmaceutical group focused on developing innovative peptides and proteins targeting rare endocrine/metabolic diseases and certain cancers. Its lead program AZP‑531 showed encouraging efficacy/tolerability in a Phase II trial for Prader-Willi syndrome before being acquired by Millendo Therapeutics. Another key program, ASPAREC®, targeted acute lymphoblastic leukemia with a novel PEGylated recombinant L-asparaginase partnered with Jazz Pharmaceuticals. The third entity, Alizé Pharma 3—now Amolyt Pharma—continues to develop first-in-class peptides for rare endocrine/metabolic disorders such as hypoparathyroidism and severe insulin resistance.[5][4]
