Alize Pharma II

Alize Pharma II was a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company dedicated to developing peptide-based therapies for rare endocrine and metabolic diseases. The company's primary asset was Livoletide (AZP-531), a first-in-class unacylated ghrelin analog designed to treat hyperphagia and metabolic complications in patients with Prader-Willi Syndrome. Based in Lyon, France, the company was a member of the Alize Pharma group, which specialized in building asset-specific entities for drug development. Following successful Phase 2 proof-of-concept studies, Alize Pharma II was acquired by Millendo Therapeutics in December 2017.
