Alliance for Community Transfusion Services

Alliance for Community Transfusion Services (ACTS) is a U.S. nonprofit alliance of independent community blood centers that provides blood services solutions to hospitals and healthcare facilities. The organization supports member centers through shared resources, collective purchasing, operational collaboration, and transfusion-related services, while helping preserve the independent community blood banking model. ACTS also administers the Blood Emergency Readiness Corps (BERC), an emergency blood reserve designed to respond to mass casualty events. Rather than operating as a drug-development biotech or pharma company, ACTS functions as a healthcare services and blood supply infrastructure organization focused on collection, processing, testing, distribution, and continuity of blood product supply.
