Allogene's lead product cemacabtagene ansegedleucel (cema-cel) showed promising results in Phase 1 ALPHA/ALPHA2 trials for relapsed/refractory LBCL with overall response rates of 58% and complete response rates of 42% across the study, and 67% and 58% with the pivotal study regimen, respectively. Among patients who achieved complete response, median duration of response was 23.1 months and median overall survival was not reached. The company is now conducting the pivotal Phase 2 ALPHA3 trial for first-line consolidation in LBCL. ALLO-316 for renal cell carcinoma has shown meaningful response rates in Phase 1 trials, and ALLO-329 for autoimmune diseases has received FDA IND clearance.[5][9]
