Company intelligence / Profile preview
Almi Invest is Sweden’s most active early-stage venture capital firm. It operates through eight regional funds and one national GreenTech fund. Since its founding in 2009, it has invested in nearly 600–700 startups across sectors including technology, life sciences, cleantech, and industry. The firm manages approximately SEK 3–3.5 billion (~€300 million) and typically invests SEK 1–10 million per company. Its GreenTech fund targets climate-smart investments with larger ticket sizes for CO2-reducing technologies. Notable exits include portfolio companies acquired by Google, Microsoft, Apple, Qlik or IPOs like Tobii and MIPS.
