Alpha Care Medical Group is a California healthcare services company and independent physicians association focused on value-based and managed care delivery rather than drug development. Founded in 1993, it serves Medi-Cal/Medicaid, commercial, Medicare, and dual-eligible members, primarily in Riverside and San Bernardino counties in Southern California. The organization operates through a network of primary care and specialty physicians and also offers urgent care, laboratory, and radiology services. Alpha Care Medical Group was acquired in 2019 by entities affiliated with Apollo Medical Holdings, now Astrana Health, and continues to operate as part of Astrana Health's care network.
