Alteer Corporation was a pioneer in the healthcare information technology sector, specializing in integrated, web-based clinical and financial management solutions for physician practices. The company's flagship product, Alteer Office, was a comprehensive platform that combined electronic medical records (EMR), practice management, and clinical connectivity into a single Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) application. Founded in 1998, Alteer was among the first to leverage the internet to provide small and mid-sized medical groups with sophisticated tools previously available only to large institutions.
