Company intelligence / Profile preview
Alteon Health was a prominent physician-led medical group that provided management and staffing services for emergency medicine, hospitalist, and post-acute care programs across the United States. Formed in 2017 through the merger of Emergency Medicine Associates (EMA) and Island Medical Management (IMM), the company focused on clinical excellence and operational efficiency for its hospital partners. At its peak, the organization served over 125 practice locations and managed more than 1,700 clinicians. In 2021, Alteon Health was acquired by US Acute Care Solutions (USACS), a move that consolidated its extensive network into one of the largest physician-owned emergency and hospitalist medicine groups in the country.
