Alternative Investment Management Association

The Alternative Investment Management Association (AIMA) is the global representative for the alternative investment industry, encompassing hedge funds, private credit, and other non-traditional asset classes. Founded in 1990, the organization serves as a central hub for advocacy, policy development, and the establishment of industry-wide best practices. AIMA represents over 2,100 corporate members across more than 60 countries, including fund managers, institutional investors, and professional service providers. Its primary mission is to promote the industry's value to the global economy and ensure a sustainable regulatory environment. While AIMA provides educational resources and networking opportunities, it does not engage in life sciences research or healthcare product development.
