Company intelligence / Profile preview
Alydia Health developed the Jada System, a non-invasive medical device designed to rapidly control postpartum hemorrhage by encouraging normal uterine contractions. The pivotal PEARLE IDE Study supported its FDA clearance in August 2020. Real-world data from the RUBY study showed high effectiveness in controlling bleeding after childbirth—92.5% success for vaginal births and 83.7% for cesarean sections—with most cases controlled within five minutes. The Jada System uses a vacuum to initiate contractions and stop the bleeding and is being used in hospitals throughout the US. The RUBY study reinforced Jada pivotal study results in a real-world setting.
