Amaranth Medical was a venture-backed medical technology company focused on the development of next-generation bioresorbable scaffolds (BRS) for the treatment of cardiovascular diseases. The company's proprietary technology platform utilized an ultra-high molecular weight PLLA polymer, allowing for the creation of scaffolds with significantly thinner struts than first-generation BRS products while maintaining mechanical strength.
