AMCo (Amdipharm Mercury) was a leading international specialty pharmaceutical company focused on the sale of niche, off-patent prescription medicines. Formed in 2013 through the merger of Amdipharm and Mercury Pharma, the company specialized in acquiring and revitalizing established brands across various therapeutic areas, including endocrinology, ophthalmology, and critical care. AMCo built a significant global footprint, distributing products to over 100 countries before its acquisition. In 2015, the company was acquired by Concordia Healthcare (now known as Advanz Pharma) for approximately $3.5 billion, integrating its extensive portfolio of legacy brands into a larger global platform.
