Amedex Therapeutics was a clinical-stage biotechnology company focused on developing improved therapies for bone-related disorders, including osteoporosis and Paget's disease. The company's lead candidate, AMDX-2011, was a novel prodrug of the bisphosphonate alendronate designed to improve oral bioavailability and reduce gastrointestinal side effects.
