Company intelligence / Profile preview
Amercanex, also known as the American Cannabis Exchange, was an electronic commodities exchange platform designed specifically for the wholesale cannabis industry. The company developed the ACE marketplace to provide a transparent, neutral, and efficient environment for licensed cultivators, dispensaries, and manufacturers to trade cannabis products. By implementing standardized trading practices, Amercanex sought to bring institutional-grade technology and regulatory oversight to the fragmented legal cannabis and medical marijuana markets. The platform was intended to facilitate the sale of wholesale inventory while ensuring compliance with various state regulations. However, the company's operations were effectively halted following SEC enforcement actions in 2019 related to fraudulent and unregistered securities offerings. Consequently, the exchange is no longer an active participant in the healthcare or agricultural technology sectors.
