Amerex Group

Amerex Group was a full-service contract research organization (CRO) that provided comprehensive clinical trial management services to the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device industries. Headquartered in Germantown, Maryland, the company specialized in managing Phase I through Phase IV clinical trials across a variety of therapeutic areas, including oncology, cardiovascular, and central nervous system disorders. Their service offerings included clinical monitoring, data management, biostatistics, medical writing, and regulatory consulting. In 2013, Amerex Group was acquired by BioClinica, a provider of specialized technology-enabled services, to bolster its clinical research capabilities. The acquisition allowed BioClinica to offer a more integrated suite of clinical trial services to its global client base.
