American Anesthesiology

American Anesthesiology was a U.S. anesthesia services company and physician group focused on anesthesiology, pain management, and perioperative care across hospital and ambulatory settings. Founded in 2007, it operated as a MEDNAX medical group and provided clinical staffing and practice support for anesthesiologists, Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists, and Anesthesiologist Assistants. In May 2020, the company was acquired by North American Partners in Anesthesia and ceased operating as an independent company. It was not a drug-development biotech or pharmaceutical company; rather, it was a healthcare services organization delivering anesthesia-related clinical care.
