Company intelligence / Profile preview
American Bone Health was a U.S. nonprofit bone health education and advocacy organization focused on osteoporosis awareness, fracture prevention, and consumer risk assessment. Rather than developing therapeutics, it created patient-facing educational programs, peer educator networks, and digital tools such as the American Bone Health Fracture Risk Calculator to help adults understand bone health risks and discuss them with clinicians. The organization worked nationally through community programs and partnerships to promote practical bone-health behaviors across the lifespan. On October 1, 2023, American Bone Health joined forces with the Bone Health and Osteoporosis Foundation, and its programs and services were transitioned under the BHOF umbrella. It should therefore be viewed as a closed healthcare nonprofit rather than an operating biotech or pharma company.
