American Thrombosis

The American Thrombosis and Hemostasis Network (ATHN) is a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing care for individuals with bleeding and clotting disorders. ATHN provides a national infrastructure for clinical data collection and management, supporting a network of over 145 federally funded hemophilia treatment centers (HTCs) across the United States. By maintaining a secure national database, ATHN facilitates large-scale research, clinical trials, and quality improvement initiatives aimed at improving outcomes for patients with hemophilia, von Willebrand disease, and other rare coagulation disorders. Their services include data stewardship, research support, and the development of digital health tools for patient monitoring.
