Amplivant

Amplivant is a clinical-stage biotechnology company focused on developing next-generation immunotherapies for cancer and infectious diseases. The company's core technology, the Amplivant® platform, utilizes proprietary synthetic Toll-like receptor 2 (TLR2) ligands conjugated to synthetic long peptides (SLPs) to enhance the potency of T-cell responses. This approach aims to create highly effective therapeutic vaccines that can overcome the immunosuppressive environment of tumors. Amplivant was established as a spin-off from the Leiden University Medical Center (LUMC) and ISA Pharmaceuticals to commercialize advanced adjuvant technology. In 2021, ISA Pharmaceuticals acquired the remaining shares of the company to fully integrate the platform into its pipeline.
