AnalizaDx

AnalizaDx was a Cleveland-based biotechnology company focused on the development of advanced cancer diagnostics using a proprietary protein structure analysis platform. Spun off from Analiza, Inc. in 2006, the company developed technology to identify biomarkers based on structural changes in proteins, such as isoforms, rather than simple concentration levels. Its lead product, the IsoPSA test, was designed to improve the accuracy of prostate cancer screening and reduce the rate of unnecessary biopsies. In 2013, AnalizaDx's operations were folded into Cleveland Diagnostics, a joint venture with Cleveland Clinic Innovations, which successfully commercialized the IsoPSA test and continues to develop diagnostics for breast and ovarian cancers.
