AngioLab specializes in developing therapeutics based on angiogenesis inhibitors. The company has advanced several candidates into clinical trials targeting conditions such as AMD, MASH/NASH, periodontitis, otitis media with effusion, psoriasis, rosacea, and abdominal obesity. As of early/mid–2024:

• AL101–AMD received IND approval to begin a Phase III trial for wet age-related macular degeneration.
• AL101–OME completed a Phase IIa trial for otitis media with effusion.
• AL101–MASH completed a Phase IIa trial targeting metabolic syndrome-related fatty liver disease.
• AL102-PDT completed a Phase II trial for periodontal disease.[2]

The company also markets Ob-X—a functional food ingredient clinically shown to reduce visceral fat—and has developed antibody-drug conjugates through academic collaborations.[2]
