Company intelligence / Profile preview
ANGLE is a world-leading liquid biopsy company that has developed the Parsortix system, a patented microfluidic technology for the capture and harvesting of intact circulating tumor cells (CTCs) from whole blood. The system is epitope-independent, utilizing size and deformability to capture all types of CTCs, including those that have undergone epithelial-mesenchymal transition. This technology provides a non-invasive "liquid biopsy" that enables repeat testing of cancer patients to guide personalized treatment throughout the course of their disease. ANGLE's Parsortix PC1 system is the first ever FDA-cleared medical device for the harvesting of CTCs from the blood of metastatic breast cancer patients for subsequent analysis.
