Anicells

Anicells, based in Antwerp, Belgium, accelerates the development and go-to-patient process of novel cell therapy products by providing regulatory support, GMP translation of processes, GMP-compliant manufacturing infrastructure for early clinical trials, and next-generation process development. It operates as a multi-product site with several cleanrooms designed to EU GMP standards. The initiative was founded through collaboration between University of Antwerp, University Hospital Antwerp, POM Antwerp Province Development Agency—with Flemish and European government support—to address bottlenecks in bringing advanced therapy medicinal products to patients.
