Aochen Biologics (Aochen Biotechnology (Yunnan) Co., Ltd.) is a Chinese biotechnology company specializing in the research, development, and clinical translation of novel stem cell therapies and regenerative medicine. The company's lead program, TriCellPr-AC07, is a human umbilical cord mesenchymal stem cell (hUC-MSC) injection developed using advanced 3D cell manufacturing technology for the treatment of knee osteoarthritis, which entered Phase 1 clinical trials in 2025. Aochen Biologics has also discovered a proprietary population of highly active mesenchymal stem cells, termed Small Pluripotent Stem Cells (SPSC), which are one-third the size of traditional MSCs and exhibit superior regenerative capabilities for indications like ovarian aging and metabolic diseases. The company operates a state-of-the-art 5,000-square-meter GMP-compliant intelligent cell manufacturing facility in Kunming, Yunnan, and leads the Yunnan Province Smart Cell Manufacturing Engineering Research Center.
