ApiGen is a South Korean biotechnology company focused on the development of innovative vaccines and therapeutics for viral diseases. The company is the parent entity of Sumagen, which is developing SAV001, the first genetically modified, whole-killed HIV-1 vaccine to enter human clinical trials. ApiGen's core technology platform, the Specific Antigenic Vaccine (SAV) platform, enables the creation of inactivated virus vaccines that maintain high immunogenicity while ensuring safety.
